California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) Workshop

Presented by the Pacific Rim Institute at CSULA and the UCLA Confucius Institute

This five-week program is designed to help native Mandarin speakers prepare to pass the CBEST, an exam required by the state of CA to become a certified Mandarin instructor for K-12. The exam tests basic knowledge of reading, math and English writing ability. The workshop will be led by Robin Perez, an English teacher with Alhambra Unified School District for 12 years.  Read more about her bio. Students will be given an initial writing assessment to determine level of English competence.

Class Dates and Times: There will be five Saturday sessions: May 2, 9, 23, 30, and June 6, 2-5PM
